Am I Getting A New Power?

Over the past few days, I have been hearing the voices of people, but I can't see them. Not only that, I've been talking to shadows of other people. I'm not sure if that's a new power or not. I told my other psychic friends, but I'm not sure they agree with me. I don't know if I'm just imagining things, or if I am truly developing new abilities. I'm starting to actually blend in with the shadows, which to me is awesome! Somehow, though I think only other psychics can see me (although I'm not entirely sure). I can do this "shadow contact" by focusing my energy all around me and listening very, very carefully.

Sometimes, I hear regular conversations between the shadows, but other times they tell important things too. Although, some of the shadows like to play with me and take my stuff. I don't mind, though. Anyway, I think this is strongest at night because the shadows are busier than usual. If you have any advice, I'm all ears. I think if I developed this power even further, I could teach other psychics to use it as well. Also, is it possible that shadows can speak in dreams? If so, let me know (because they have been talking up a storm) lol. I wonder if I concentrate now, could I talk to them right now?

Shinigami, what is this comment then, because I re read what I stated several times, while waiting for another one of your comments, and there is no part in which I suggest that I believe in "Slendermen", and I did see the Marble Hornets entries. Their obviously fake, atleast to me. And Rashidah, As I'm not in the mood, I'm just going to ignore your comments.

"The funny part is that you believed they were Slenderman," Uhm no, I never did believe it, all I stated was that my FRIENDS did. Also, I DID do the research when I first heard about it. You shouldn't talk about things you don't know for sure when it comes to telling people what they did.

The funny part is that you believed they were Slenderman, when Slenderman is obviously a meme. However, the idea for Slenderman did spawn from some Polish/German legends, but Slenderman is still a mythos. And its also funny that you apparently didn't bother to look it up, so you tried to pass it off as legit information. Here's the links:

Shinigami, I honestly don't see what's so funny. All I said was that some friends I know, call the particularly tall shadows "Slenderman", and I wasn't sure if that was a correct term. Then I stated what Shadows were apart of. Honestly these days, opinions from certain people aren't worth a thing anymore...

Stay away from the ARG's for a while... We don't need Everyman Hybrid or anything spawning on this site. There is already too much other stuff...

airwindme, I've been told that was a "slenderman" by several people I know, not sure if it's correct, as I've seen many of them. And as for you Jay, shadows are apart of darkness, and darkness is an element, so there's your ability.

i have heard of a psychic ability involving shadows however I cannot tell you much about it though not many people have the ability but maybe you can think of the shadows as the opposite of people. My abilities have quadrupled in thelast two months maybe one day I would share your ability if I push it to the point of migranes. Sorry I wasn't much help

Have you ever seen an abnormally tall, cloaked shadow? If you have, how much do you know about them? I am trying to learn more about them because there are a lot of people who see them sometimes and no I have talked to about them know anything.
And these shadows, do you hear them through your ears or in your head? My cousin says that she can hear rapid whispers sometimes in her head. If what you say about the shadows is true, then I could do some research on them to... I am sort of thinking aloud:).

oh deffinitely stuff can speak in dreams. That's where I get my predictions from, I talk in my sleep or see it in my dream.

they are ghosts, you just cannot see them properly yet. And... You blend into the shadows? Ahhh... You cannot become invisible... As strange as all this may be to some, there are actually perimeters to it at this point in time. I fyou cannot find someone, or others, who share your experiences, chances are they are proabaly your imagination... Be careful with these shadows. Ask for only beings who are of the light ok?

I don't get what you people are talking about with shadows. Can someone elaborate? And as far as new abilities why is after I start focusing on making my empathy or sight stronger I start having distortions? It's like a stronger form but it is like a fragmented vision or feeling.

It seems you have similar abilities to the shadow people. You certainly have obtained a new ability. But seeing them would just mean your awareness evolved.
Since your like them by using this ability it is most likely most of them will not harm you. Because they see you not as a threat. Maybe even like one of them or as a ally.
They can go into your dreams and talk just like any other being that dreams.
However if you choose to Increase this ability I would advise for you to becareful. There are stronger shadows that would harm you to manipulate you or take your power to increase theirs. Also if you learn to evolve this "shadow contact" do not wander far into the beyond. Don't go into their world too far into the dark realms or shadow realms. Its dangerous.

dear vendetta- it's clairaudience when you can hear them and clairsentience when you can feel or sense them and clairvoyant when you can see them. It's all good!
This isn't a new ability in my opinion this is the evolution of an ability. You are blending into the energies of the universe- you are opening yourself up to its power. But my question also is what are you calling shadows? Spirits (spirits have crossed over)? Ghosts (earthbound spirits)? Or is this the sense of an energy double of yourself (consciousness) that can leave the physical body and go play with other consciousnesses?

I've haven't herd them but I have seen them a few times. They jump form one side of a room to the other and knock things over. Before you start talking to them you might want to wait a while to see if their intentions are good.:) Good Luck!

Well, I know that hearing voices of people who are not there is either called schizophrenia or claurisentience. Now the first one only happens to crazy people, so I'll move on to the second one. Claurisentience is the ability to mainly hear spirits and voices but not see them. It has other deeper setbacks and allowances, but the hearing is the most blunt one of them. Are these shadows that you talk about Shadow people? Or something else? Be careful, and make sure you learn more before anything bad happens. Research claurisentience, maybe you can find more information than I can give you. Good luck, and God bless.
