Connection?

So, I just got an account and this is my first story and it is also about today. I came to my Grandparents to sleepover and my Grandma was at work. I was with my Grandpa and I found this web site. I have always felt that I had a power, but I also have paranormal experiences and when I tell my mom that I believe a spirit is in our home, she gets a little angry and says that the house is not old enough, but about a year ago my nana (who lived with us) past away.

I feel if I tell my mom about my powers (or my belief that I have powers) she will get mad and tell me otherwise. So I was reading stories on this site today and I started to think I may be a psychic. I also discovered that magic is real as well. I felt so extraordinary that I'm not crazy.

So then my Grandpa and I began to speak about ghosts and he told me about a psychic he and my Grandma went to once. She told them things that were imposable for her to know. I began to want to meet her. Then he told me something about my brother's name that my mom had told me earlier that week.

Then my Grandma got home and I told her about this site and she told me about how her and my Grandpa went to a psychic, the same my Grandpa just told me about. So I was speaking to my Grandma and the phone rang. When she picked it up she looked shocked. My aunt almost married a man but then they broke up and she married someone else, as did he. Well my aunt's almost husband, died of a heart attack about two hours before. This call was about three hours ago.

Am I being stupid thinking this day was some how connected?

Or am I making sense? I want to understand more about psychics because I think I may be one and I think two of my friends may be also. Actually one already assumed that he was a psychic. Please comment.
