This took place here in Michigan. I am not sure when I notice things different that took place with me around. For a long time I can be in the living room and the television will just blast away, and when I go out of that room it goes back to the lower sound it was before I entered the room.

I can't wear a watch on my skin, they will stop working. I can't wear them on a chain around my neck as they also stop working. If I wear a long sleeved shirt and put the watch over it, then the watch will work. I have gotten 10k, 14k and 22k gold earrings and after a bit, it's like they tarnish or something. I clean them and they are nice and bright gold color. I wear them for a few days and they look as if they have tarnished again.

Many times when I hug people "hello or goodbye", they will make a comment of "What the heck is wrong with my watch?" When I am not touching them it's working again.

Lights in my home have gotten real bright and have gotten real dull when in those rooms. It don't happen all the time however, but does happen many times.

The other day I was sitting in my chair in the living room I was going to paint and needed to bend the goose neck lamp next to me. It was off at the time. I went to bend it and my hand slipped off, and touched the bulb it came on, and yet the lamp was turned off. The bulb only stayed on as long as I held it, when I took my hand off the bulb it was not on. When I put it back on the bulb it was on again. I thought okay let's see about the bulbs in the kitchen. I touched the bulbs they also came on took my hand off, the bulbs went off.

I thought it was maybe just my house. So later that day went to my sisters house and did the same thing to her bulbs. The same thing happen on when I touched them, off when I didn't. She asked me what I was doing I told her an experiment.

I have many "psychic abilities" in many other areas. But being able to turn the light bulbs on by touching them, this is a new one to me. Any ideas people about this? And why gold looks tarnished on me after I wear it for a few days?

katie, yes we all tend to have bad luck, as you called it with something in our life time. It very well could of been like this. Thank you for your comment to my story.

[at] Lily when you have the "gift" anything is possible. Thanks for your comment. Why some of us have this and most people don't is the mystery to me. I believe there are many people in this world, that have this gift that just don't know it yet, until many things happen and that kind of wakes them up. Once again thanks for the comment to my story.

This is just normal really.

I think you have bad luck with watches that's all. I have bad luck with Computers.

these things tend to happen to me as well. For instance, I was staying over at a friends house one night and all of a sudden, her radio started blasting as loud as it could possibly play. And no one had touched it. I never thought they were psychic experiences until just now, when I read this story. I recently found out that I am also psychic, so these experiences make total sense.

[at] Glenda and Edmund, thanks for your comments. I will stay away from high powered lines like you said Edmund. Yes I do have many stories to tell of this, kind of effect on me. I have had my psychic abilites of many kinds, maybe all my life. But can only remember since I was 4 years of age.

Flutterofwings... Wow that's cool and dangerous all at the same time... Stay away from high voltage substations ! But anyway to turn a light on with the switch off means you are bridging a gap of about 1/4 of an inch inside the switch with I'll say your Aura or the electrical component of you. You must have some very interesting stories to tell other than what you have on this site... Your Aura, presense, being etc. Must be like a becon to the spirit world ! 😁

Flutter - Even though you can't see me, I apologize. Had to stop laughing. It happens. Once I worked in an old, old building. There was a horrible storm. Most went to the basement. Never occurred to me. I was looking out the window, watching, awnings blow off, when the window blew out. I caught it. I called the building manager. He was a gruff old man who said, well just hold it and when the storm ends, we will come up and put it back in... I held it awhile, it was heavy, and went duh, I can set it down. It was just so weird. I should have been in the basement. I just chose to catch it instead. We're all different. Hiding never occurred to me. I was alone on the top floor. Now, older, I would follow some procedure thing. I ignored them then though. Blowing out bulbs happens.

People say the lights flicker in their presence. The lights however are constantly flickering, as they run on an AC current, turning on and off about 15 times a second. Most people can't see it, but some people can see it mile off. This is because your brain is electrically enhanced and you pick up electricity more sensitively.
I find that even if a television is on mute, I can sense whether it is on or not through walls, doors but only for a distance of about 25ft. I can do this with most electrical appliances but a television is most easiest because it transmits different types of signals at different wavelengths, not just electrical particles.

For the light bulb thing and all the electrical stuff that happens around you seems a lot like electrokinesis, some of the same things happen to me but to a lesser extent for awhile every time I unplugged something from a wall outlet I would see a spark, and lights in our house flicker a lot especially everytime I turn the tv off by using the button on the tv instead of the remote but I just thought that was because our house was haunted. I named him Pete, the ghost I mean. But lately I call him Peter, I'm not even sure why. But anyway it definitely sounds similar to Electrokinesis. 😉
