I've seen a couple of orbs in the house before, a white one sitting stationary in my doorway last week being one of them. It was at night, and everyone had gone to bed. I was laying in mine just sort of looking around the room because I couldn't sleep and saw a small-ish orb, about the size of a tennis ball, sitting there about 7 feet in the air. It emitted a little bit of light, but other than that it was just an opaque, white orb. It disappeared after a couple of seconds. The very first time this happened, I was again laying in bed at night looking out to the rest of the room, when I saw an opaque black orb sort of bobbing in place next to my wall. It was a bit bigger than the white one I saw last week. Fast forward to just a few minutes ago while I was doing the dishes. Now, just so there's no confusion, I have to explain this bit. Our windows have a weird film on them that has a purpose, but I don't remember what. Anyway, because of the film, if you have the lights on at night, you can only see your reflection rather than out into the yard.
I was washing out a cup and looking at my reflection when I noticed this small, almost rainbow-like orb come out from behind me, slowly fly over to my left and disappear behind the corner of the fridge. It didn't put off any light, but th orb itself was changing colors quickly. It kind of faded and mixed from blue, to red, to green, looked white momentarily, and then seemed like it was a mixture of colors again. My first thought was, "What was that? It looked like a tiny rainbow." Has anyone else seen something like this? If so, what do you think it is? As always, help is every appreciated!
