Weird Noise That I Heard While Sleeping In My Backyard

My name is Sebastian 18 years old, honestly I'm not sure if this is even worthy of publishing here but I just want to know if anyone else have heard what I heard that day. I have a house with a big backyard with some trees and a lot of grass (obviously) I have a lot to worry you know school and what I'm going to do with my future so I'm stressed most of the time and sometimes my head hurts really bad because I think too much sometimes. One day I decided to lay on the grass and just relax a little bit when I did this and stayed there for some time my headache and all my woryness vanished, I felt grateful with nature so since then every single time I feel very stressed I go outside and and just lay on the grass and watch the clouds go by. One day I just felt the necessity to go outside, I did the exact same thing I do all the time (lay on the grass) I stayed there for about half and hour but out of nowhere I started hearing this noise, it sounded like a flute but I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I thought my neighbour was the one making that noise but the wasn't even in the house, I started searching from where it came from because it made me feel so peaceful and relaxed and I didn't wanted it to end but after looking for sometime it just stopped. I couldn't find from where it came from or what was making that noise, but I have never heard anything like it, never! It sounded like it came from everywhere like it was air just everywhere... After that I just went back inside and that was it, I hear the noise a second time but it lasted even shorter. I don't know if this has anything to do with this but sometimes when I concentrate on my hands I can feel like a tension in them or something like that, almost like electricity. I have a cat and I tried moving my had around his hair without touching him with this (energy) concentrated in my hand and I could see his hair moving upwards in the direction of my hand, and my cat hate when I do that hahaha he gets really mad:p

Thanks for reading this far... This is probably not worth reading.

I was expecting this to turn into kind of darker, I once heard something creeping up on me, and when I turned to look I could hear it almost run off and nothing behind me. However, as far as wanting to relax on the grass, mine wasn't the grass but it was a bench. My freshmen year in college I was introduced to the freedom of being able to do whatever I wanted to, so if I wanted to go out for a walk at midnight no one cared, so I could go for a walk, clear my mind, and then head to a certain area where there was a bench that I could lay on and just look up at the sky. It was a beautiful spot, and I really enjoyed just laying and letting my mind feel cleared. As far as the noise, maybe why it sounded like it was all around was because you were hearing it inside your mind, not outside it. I can't say that I've ever heard a flute noise, but I've heard plenty of other weird things. If it was something relaxing, I'd do as rob above suggested, try meditating, maybe you can get into the same kind of relaxed state and hearing it again.

Hi Sebastian,
There is an old Buddhist saying which goes,"If you find enlightenment chopping wood, keep chopping wood." Watching the clouds go by can be very relaxing, just take the time and relax. As far as the flute like sound, enjoy it. I'd suggest pursuing meditation in a formal sense, as it will help you find the guidance you are seeking.
